It's wonderful to be able to follow the rescue and recovery of the horse I fell in love with during my trail ride. This farm doesn't just CLAIM to rescue and rehab horses - they actually do! It's so heartwarming to go back through the years of posts on their face book page and see how each and every horse they own - has pulled through some pretty bad stuff!
As a vet tech, I wish all stables were as knowledgeable and caring towards their horses. Everything was perfectly built, designed and managed to the highest level I've seen outside of a large veterinary hospital. Our trail guide should really be a professor of equine science - not an instructor of chemistry! We will definitely be back next time we visit family
Wow! Been hunting on this COE land all my life - and now there's a horseback riding stable right next to it! So cool! The farm and horses look great - and none of them were bothered at all when me and my friends roared up behind them (by accident). My mom went riding there last weekend and said she had a blast. They are real good people y'all. Soon as hunting season is over - me and my friends are going to be riding there a LOT!
I love horses but I'm kind've scared of them. Our guide was very good at teaching us the ropes first in the mini-lesson. She put me on the short Icelandic horse which made me feel a LOT more confident. I'm now totally in love with little Cherokee! We'll be back to do the 2 hour ride next time!
I found this place and reserved a trail ride for my wife and daughters. They really enjoyed the ride! It is well worth the drive, since there are plenty of free museums in the small town for nonriders like myself to explore.
